Info Sessions on Wednesdays & Thursdays at 11am (starting Oct. 6)
** NEW ** If you require staff to have their Smart Choices or Food Handlers Certification, we can reimburse this fee upon successful completion. Contact us for details and availability!
We are the Knox Employment Entry (KEE) Program and we specialize in assisting unemployed and/or under-employed "ready, willing and able" Manitobans find a wide variety of entry level work in Winnipeg and surrounding areas.
If you are an employer looking for new entry level employees to work 26 hours per week or more, please consider talking with us. We are a no-charge service (free employment agency) that only sends potential candidates to you that have the requirements that you are looking for. There is no obligation to hire that person if you feel they are not the right fit for your company.
We have an ever-changing roster of clients. We do our best to match suitable candidates for your company. Since we want to build long term relationships with employers, we will only send candidates that have the qualifications you are looking for, this means however, there will be times that we are unable to fill available positions. We do encourage employers looking for higher skilled positions (truck drivers, etc) to use us as one resource for potential staff. If we don't find anyone this round of you needing staff, we hope you will reach out to us again next time you do as we never know who may be walking through our doors that week.
Kindly note: we are not a temp agency but we help as a free staffing agency (no charge for our services but if an employer hires one of our candidates, the candidate will need to be paid).
Our clients are interviewed prior to being accepted into our program to ensure they are ready, willing and able to accept a job. Clients then participate in our certified "Step By Step To Employment" training course which focuses on how they can bring value to your company by looking at things through the perspective of the employer's and customers' point of view. We cover the "big picture" when it comes to attaining the job including all steps of finding and securing employment to how to be a great employee and how to provide excellent customer service.
